pari movie review

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s film ‘Pari’ has knocked on theaters on the occasion of Holi. So far you had seen the trailer and teaser of this movie, but after watching it you will be scared, but now that the movie has come on the screen. Pari is a horror genre movie and is a great effort. There is no need to say that you will definitely see scary faces like the horror films in this movie, but there is a solid reason behind all of them in the film.

The film is directed by Prosit Roy. The story of the film, as if it seems to be a fairytale by its name, exactly the opposite. From the very beginning, the film has been a great effort to make super natural horror films with the help of songs and background music. An attempt was made to make the film scary to such an extent that an attempt has been made to infiltrate the factors like darkness, blood, chained chained girls in every frame. It is surprising, however that when the effort is made to add scattered pieces of the film, the film is half-dead.

Pari Movie Story

The story of the film begins with the meeting of Arnab (Parambrata Chatterjee) and Piyali (Ritabhari Chakraborty). When these two meet each other in marriage for the first time. After this meeting, when Arnab comes back with his parents from the car, a strange incident happens in the road accident. And while driving the car, his father hits an old lady with a car and she dies at the same time.

After further investigation, the police arrive at the woman’s house located between that forest. Where they meet Rukhsana Khatoon (Anushka Sharma). Rukhsana has shackles on foot. The sad Arnab wants to help Rukhsana but he does not know that this is not the story of some fairies. And some such things happen, because of which Rukhsana has to go home with Arnab. He keeps that girl with him, even after the mother is stopped. But in the meantime, Arnab realizes that something that is strange with the girl who is living with him. At the same time, his life is not normal. Arnab lives in a single house and his parents live in another house, a different turning point comes in the story.

After that the story goes to a village in Bangladesh in the flashback, where the character of Dr. Qasim Ali (Rajat Kapoor) is introduced to the audience. Qasim Ali is a professor and is engaged in the destruction of the root of Ifrit, who in a way may be called Shaitan or Jinn in a muslim environment. That’s why they have to come to Kolkata from Bangladesh and when they meet Rukhsana, things change.  And then, the curtain rises from all the secrets and ultimately this fairy tale gets executed. What is the past of the Pari who is seen in his own cruel room?

Will it be too late by the time the Arnab will know everything? It will be interesting to see in the film, why Arnab feels so concerned that he has any relation with Rukhsana? So to know the answers to all these questions, you will have to go to the nearest cinema.

This is the first Hindi horror film of director Prosit Roy. The way in which he has created a different atmosphere in the film, he is very much appreciated. To create fear, they resorted to the environment and background sound without taking the help of glass. The way in which he has taken an incident of Bangladesh from its story, it can be considered as a very good one.

In the case of acting, all the actors in this movie have done justice with their own character. Anushka Sharma initially looks at how she can act like this, but as the film progresses, she turns the initial suspicion from her acting into reality. Such thinking comes because of them, because they look slightly elite according to their character.

Parambrata had earlier considered his acting iron in the story and this time he also appears in the same form in the Pari. A gentle person who sympathizes with others and looks forward to help, this character has played very well by Parambrata. Rajat Kapoor is looking good in the character of Professor Qasim Ali.

Background music of Ketan Sodha is also great. There are one or two songs in the film, but which are extremely difficult to notice.

Watch or Not

The story of the film is good and presented in a new way. This movie is an adult film, and as an adult, maybe a special section will not be able to see this movie. There are some scenes that are not for those with weak heart. So watch this film with a thoughtful heart and strong heart. And, if you are fans of Anushka Sharma and also like the horror movie then you can watch this movie with the whole family.
