Padmavat’ Will Now Be Released On 25th January 2018

It looks like Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s controversial film Padmavat may be released on 25th January, 2018. The censor board gave the film a U/A certificate. The time of the film is 2 hours and 43 minutes in the certification. The censor board has made 5 major changes in the film. This includes the name of the film Padmavat instead of Padmavati. Padmavat has been built in a big budget film of around 180 crore.

The release of the film was stuck after the objections of the Rajput organizations. It was to be released on December 1. Rajput Karani Army alleges that history has been tampered with in the film and Padmavati has been shown as Alauddin Khilji’s girlfriend. This led to the release of the movie. However, the Rajput organization still does not believe. He has said that changing the name of the film does not solve the problem. Film release will not be allowed.

On the other hand, if the film is released on January 25, it will be encountered by Akshay Kumar’s ‘Padman’. The coming together of two big films can have a bad effect on the collection of movies.

Padmavati, which stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini, Shahid Kapoor as Maharwal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, will release as ‘Padmavat’. This film is based on the epic poem Padmavat in 1540s by Malik Muhammad Jayasi. The story of the film narrates, a great Rajput queen who committed jauhar to save herself from a cruel Muslim King ‘Khilji’.
